One thing you must know before you get in your car and drive off is that sometimes thieves like to steal your car in an unconventional manner. They’re not looking to break windows and hotwire your vehicle anymore. Many thieves are targeting you. They wait until you’re on a road with little traffic, probably when it’s dark, and they bump into you causing a minor accident. They then take your car when you get out to see if there is any damage. It’s dangerous, and you could become a victim.

If someone bumps you, call the police right away. Do not get out of your car if you are alone. Wait for the police to arrive, but don’t try to fight off a carjacker. Give them what they want if they threaten you.
